Golden Corral is the largest grill-buffet chain in the United States, built around a single all-you-can-eat price that covers the hot bar, the salad bar, the carving station and the dessert area. Instead of ordering individual entrees, you pay one admission price based on the time of day and your age, then eat as much as you like.
Because pricing is tied to the meal period rather than to menu items, the most important number at Golden Corral is the buffet admission price — and it changes between weekday lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Drinks are almost always charged separately, which is the single most common surprise on the final bill.

How to Save Money at Golden Corral
- Arrive before 4:00 PM on a weekday — lunch pricing is roughly $5 cheaper per person than dinner for a nearly identical hot bar.
- Skip the fountain drink and order water; drinks are the only part of the meal that is not all-you-can-eat.
- Sign up for the Good as Gold Club email list for a free-birthday-meal coupon and periodic discount offers.
- Seniors qualify for reduced pricing at 60+ at most locations, and the discount applies at every meal period.
